Macbubba

The Beer Stats:
  • Beer Name: Macbubba
  • Brewery:Custom brewcrafters (New York)
  • Style: Scotch Ale
  • ABV: 6.5%
  • IBU: ?
  • Pour Color: A transparent dark brown

As you take a sip of it, perfect poured, you're bathed in a sea of creamy head. Macbubba held on a little longer then most to the follicles. You immediately get a sweet smokey caramel flavor. The sweetness stays with you and a earthy malt comes to the front as you swallow. Normally a scotch ale is a pass for me, however this one is a delicious treat from a brewery that specializes in hop heavy beers.
Macbubba is actually from up the street. CB is another local brewery that I have been to when the Face gets his growlers filled. Most of the beers they make are hop heavy and usually right down my alley. The Face bought our first bottle of this one the other day. First sip, and foam covered, I knew i wanted to write a review. Ohhh and look at that mustache on ole Macbubba. Gotta show love to a stache like that!
