Woody Creek White

• Pour Color: A very cloudy light yellow to white color. 

      On pour this one was very murky. Light traveled through but not much else. The head was nice big and fluffy. It would last most of the glass. The scent off the glass was very yeasty and wheaty. The taste is a nice and spicy with a wheat backing. The coriander is very clean and easy to pick out. Theres also a mix of orange and lemon tastes that compliment this one well. A well done Belgian style beer. 
      Don't see many unfiltered wheat beers for summer. Then again you don't see a lot of what flying dog does being done by others. The bottles are always a great way of getting a friend into these. Art that really sells there brand. This one though has the character inside to sell. Well done and delicious this is a great beer for summer too!

Black Cannon

• Pour Color: A black as night beer letting no light through.

      This one had a thin look to it's body on the pour. The head all but disappeared right after the pour. Slight malt scent but mostly a nice piney scent of hops. The taste of the beer was another hop heavy experience. A nice sweet toffee and coffee flavor is overwhelmed by the hop flavor. Piney and earthy it makes for a fine crafted black IPA. I mean if IPA is in the tittle you want that hop flavor.
      Having had a loose cannon, and having enjoyed it, I bought this black IPA. I gotta say not really disappointed. The hops come out and hit you in the face and thats what a IPA should do. Although the coffee flavor is always the kind of thing this mustache likes. I say go try one if you haven't, it can only make a Face's day better!

Raging Bitch

• Style: Belgian-Style IPA

• Pour Color: A copper nearly gold color

      The light head on the top of this one disappeared quickly. With the beer exposed I was amazed at how pretty a color this beer pours. A real hoppy scent to it as it is lifted. The second it hits your mouth it's a hop wave. Pine and Citrus flavors hit quick and hard. This one was a real follicle tickler. A fairly smooth taste although all the fruit tones echo on. This one has a taste similar to the Saranac white IPA but of course is quite different.
      Flying Dog has some of the best art work on a bottle. Presenting pictures in that great gonzo style. The art is the reason the Face grabbed us our first bottle. Gonzo Imperial porter was a great beer to both of us and we knew Flying Dog needed more attention. This one is by far one of me and the Face's favorites now.
